Although being Auburn's D-coordinator may pay more, as Toney Levine made $900,000 last year, but Muschamp should take that job if offered and he still wants to be a head coach some day. Houston is a good job where you can win and move on to better jobs. Briles and Sumlin have already done so.

Muschamp has recruiting ties there due to coaching at Texas and can probably have some initial success on the recruiting trail due to his name.

He can always go back and be a defensive coordinator and make a million dollars doing that, but, if he wants to be a power 5 head coach again, he probably needs to take this job.
