6'4" 230 lbs...this kid gonna be a wr?

Seems like a good candidate for a switch to TE, but if he's nimble enough at that size, by all means let's leave him at WR. I hated our tendency in the past to move any WR just because they had the size or even just the frame to be a TE, especially when we were left with nothing but 5'10" possession WR's.

Bear Wilson is 6'5" 225lbs

He had an injury this year and put on some weight. He will be 6'4" 230 with MSU. And I do think he is an outside WR and he will be sort of like Bear Wilson like defiant said.

Wilson was listed as 6'4.5" 212 lbs coming out of HS. Just seems jones will outgrow wr. I hope he doesn't. I love big receivers

Just because players always gained weight under Balis doesn't make it so under Court. There are a number of examples of dramatic weight loss on our team right now. Have little doubt that we're going to try to shed a few lbs on Jones...

I wish Court would do something with Chris Jones. That dude has blown up.

Dontae will stay at WR unless he loses his speed & so far he hasn't. Same with Justin Johnson. A lot of people talked about him moving to TE but he's been the best WR on Team Bama this week in practice.

I'm not sold on Justin Johnson yet. He's struggled in getting separation this year. He reminds me of a taller Robert Johnson. I can see us putting him in the Malcolm Johnson role.

Part of that was bc he had a terrible QB this year & also he fought knee tendinitis. This week in the All Star practice he's had no problem getting separation.
