Yep Fred Walls got dropped this morning.

JUCO LB was offered this afternoon and committed on the spot.

Dan Mullen stands for Hate, Hugh Freeze is all about the love.

That surprises me because Ole Miss has been trying really hard for years to get into Olive Branch.

The writing was on the wall for this one for a long time. Back during the summer Walls did not even come up to one of their summer camps in which he was asked to come. There is more to this than is being told I believe.

explanation to me was that Freeze came to terms that LL won't qualify no matter what they do, so he's got to get someone who can play now. Then they reportedly dropped the high school kid for the Juco kid.

This isn't surprising news about LL - that's the reason he ended up decommitting from Bama. It would be surprising to me if they can't get him eligible, though. They got Conner in.

Hmm, I wonder if the confeds' reasoning for accepting a commit for this JUCO LB has anything to do with their confidence level of keeping Leo in the boat? He has still been coming to starkville an awful lot. I'm not willing to give up in him just yet.
