The committee is screwed if FSU, OSU, & Baylor all win.
Every year during the BCS, it worked itself out, but if the results currently hold, it won't this year. I thought for sure someone would lose, but MSU was the only team to lose, and it seems as though people weren't thinking we would get in the playoff anyway. There will be 6 teams that deserve a playoff bid and then MSU, who thinks they are one of the best 4 teams.
The committee is going to piss off a bunch of folks no matter what they do. Tonight is great for College Football, and I wouldn't be surprised if we have an 8 team playoff within the next few years.
Due to the circumstances in which MSU faces, year in and year out, an 8 team playoff would be tremendous for us in the future.
The other good news tonight, don't feel to bad about the Egg Bowl, we weren't getting in anyway with the way OSU is playing.
