Loves him some Phil Collins. Also notice sportscaster try to bait him with "there's been some talk of Dan Mullen leaving"

Am I only one that has missed the talk of Mullen leaving?

I have a sneaky feeling that the Aub and UAT snubs of some of the players we have committed from Alabama are going to come back and bite them in the ass a few years from now. The more that I have watched some of these guys on Hudl and other films the more I feel we are stealing some very fine gems out of of Alabama. Also throw in the ones we got from last couple of years, it should provide some interesting story lines over the next 3 or 4 years.

I'm predicting Mixon as the gem of this class. This guy can score anytime and anyway he touches the ball. I doubt he redshirts

No. I missed that Dan is leaving too, that is complete news to me, wow! Well, I guess it's too bad because I think Dan would've really appreciated the fact that Keith likes Phil Collins, since Dan is stuck in the 80's with music. Just unfortunate.

D. Thomas and Dear are both going to be on campus in January. They'll have all spring to prepare while Mixon (as of now) won't be on campus until late summer. And they all play the same position. It'll be a battle for who wins out, but I definitely think Mixon can do it.

Haven't seen Mixon play but I have seen Dear and I'm gonna put my money on him. Ridiculous athlete

Mixon is every bit the athlete dear is. The difference is dear has a much better body entering school. Dear is much thicker. I think both will be outstanding, but I think dear plays better early on

In my dreams, I picture mixon or Thomas being our Isaiah Mckenzie (Georgia return specialist). Mckenzie is a small guy too, but maybe the most dangerous return man in the sec

We will have some ridiculous athletes on offense next year, especially at the slot. But the kicker is we will also have size at WR

Am I missing something or does this guy look to be the same size as BH? Mullen must really love slamming the middle of the Defense with a 150# back.

I highly doubt mixon will be a rb. I think he's got slot written all over him

Mixon, Dear, & Thomas are all slot guys.

Dear will run it a lot though. He's already built like JRob.. maybe a little more proportional.

Mixon plays 7A football in Alabama against a lot of Alabama and Auburn commits. He was also one of the leaders (if not the leader) in touchdowns this season.

What is Dear's size? I have only seen pics of him on Clarion Ledger site or places like that. He looks thick in the pictures I've seen. I've also seen some posts suggesting he will play RB. Those that have seen him in person, please give me your thoughts. thanks

Don't be surprised if you see a much slimmer & fit Dear by the time the spring game comes around.

Mixon had over 1000 yards both rushing and receiving this year. The guy probably plays early for us. That is if he doesn't get a Bama offer.

Not happening.... he's actually trying to enroll early like Dear and D. Thomas so he can compete for a spot.

I think he is 6'0" 225 right now, but I bet we get him down to around 215 or so. He's big for his position, but he can still move really well. He's elite.

Biggest difference is Holloway is a track guy and Mixon is a football player. Mixon is probably a lot more comparable to Jameon, but I think he can potentially be better as his career unfolds.

It wouldn't totally shock me if all three play early, but I think we redshirt at least one of the three.

I'm really excited about the speed we're getting to go with the big physical rb's and receivers we have already.

I wouldn't be surprised of Peters play some on offense as well. I have a feeling he's going to be a break out freshman next year.

I noticed that Peters said in an interview after the game that Dan told him he could play both sides of the ball. And having seen him play I would be OK with that.
