Will he be coveted as a DC like muschamp has been? Bo was a pretty good DC himself

I'm assuming he will be coveted as a head coach. He won 9 games a year four years (including this year where he was fired before the bowl game) and won 10 games 3 years. He was 3-3 in bowl games so assuming a 50% chance of winning the bowl this year, he averaged 9.5 wins per year over seven years, with his worst season being 9-4. Surely a mid-tier Power 5 program would be thrilled to have him.

Think Michigan will go after him?

That's funny but honestly there's a good chance they'll do worse. Pelini would have been between their last two hires. Not as good as Rich Rod but better than Hoke. I'm sure UM thinks they're too good for NEbraska's cast-off, but he would play the type of football they like and can clearly win nine games consistently in the Big 10 at a school with UM's resources. I'd say there's a 50/50 chance they will wish they had hired him after this next hire plays out.

JWS had a lot of baggage as well.

Agreed...Pelini likes his hard-nose football. I think that's why he was pretty good in the SEC as a DC.

Bo will probably end up HC at a lower level school that doesn't mind his eccentricities. His personality is probably a no-go for the big boys. I would take him in a heartbeat at DC.

What are his eccentricities? Obviously the cat thing is weird? Is he just a weird person? Or more of a smart ass like Leach?

Pelini isn't as weird as much as he is a hot head. I think he's probably a good guy and great with his players, but to fans, who only get see him on Gameday, he comes across dumb hot head. That and he's non-sense and doesn't understand the politics of being a head coach. He told the Nebraska fans to basically F*$% off last year

Wasn't he the coach that came into a presser in full football uniform- pads & all? May've just been a uni announcement or something though.

Exceptionally smart. Very good at his job. Not very likable.

Yes. That video is very telling. Instead of being funny or exciting, it was really awkward.
