Or become our D coordinator? Or maybe Muschamp.

I doubt it. And wouldn't be interested in a school that fires a coach after a 9 win season.

A) Mullen is not going anywhere. B) Nebraska just fired a coach for a 9 win season. They are the smallest public school in their conference with the smallest recruiting base. No established coach would take that job. Think about it like this; how much success would TSUN have in finding a coach if they fired Freeze today? I'm not saying Pelini was the end all because I think he is a jerk. But they are going to have to gamble on another assistant or on a coach from a lower level school that does not have as good a record as Pelini.

Nebraska is a very difficult job right now with the landscape of college football as it is. They went from Osborne/Solich running the wishbone to hiring the guy that ran the Pro set. (forgot his name). They want a guy to come in and go back to the old power football, wing T, wishbone option running game of the years in the past. Paul Johnson would be a better fit at Nebraska than Mullen or any other power 5 coach. They are like Ole Miss. They used to be really good in the past and will fire you if you don't win 10 game consistently.

Ken niumatalolo is the man for the job. He's been outstanding at navy

Per Nebraska boards, Scott Frost (OC at Oregon), is the hot name for the job. I believe he was QB at Nebraska in the early 2000's.

Yes he was and he was outstanding.

Makes me believe a deal is in place to fire a 9 win coach

I don't think Bo got fired for winning 9 games. I think it's because they just don't like him.
