Michigan personifies the Big 1G. A former powerhouse that people still associate with being good. Ohio State will get credit for this, although Michigan may not be better than Vandy

the collapse of the MI and Texas programs has been unbelievable. has there ever been a bigger squandering of resources that what those 2 have pissed away?

what blows my mind (not that it takes much) is that Michigan and Bammer have guys playing "out of position" at QB.... I NEVER thought we'd see that...

Kirk is crying somewhere...
Gardner just threw his 1st road TD pass.... tied at 7; late 1st...
dammit... Ref, can you delete my MICHIGAN/OSU thread I just started? or merge it.... or shoot me, virtually?

Gardner's interception was truly awful at the beginning. He airmailed a 15 yard pass by 15 yards.

Hope everyone calls Kirk out for pushing OSU so hard after they look pitiful AGAIN. I guess he doesn't realize or care how foolish he would look if they played Bama and lost by 50.

Ole Nussie (Bama's OC last year) has dialed up/mixed up some good plays for Big Blue...

They aren't. But they are the #1 whiniest crybaby fanbase in America. They get their way because they won't stop crying until they do.

Ohio State sucks. if they pass us, it's political and there's nothing we could've done regardless.

Not arguing with you. But if OSU is left out how many t.v. viewers does college football lose during the bowls which is what it is all about?

disaster strikes... OSU gets the ball to start the 2nd H, too.

Doesn't matter though. The Committee is only picking the 4 best teams. The size of the fanbase is not a factor.
If the 4 best teams were somehow FIU, Wake Forest, Eastern Michigan, and Idaho, then that's the 4 who would go to the playoff, even if Notre Dame, Alabama, Texas, and Michigan were 5-8.

The most watched game each week has involved sec teams all but 2 weeks...
Week 2 -- usc vs Stanford
Week 8 -- ND vs fsu
Bama, kentucky, and auburn games with us were the most watched in their week. Tv wouldn't mind us

Problem is that those games are when the B1G fans are invested in watching football. Drop Ohio State and none of them watch the playoff.

They can't get all five so they sacrifice the Big12 (only ten schools) to get the top 4.

Comes at a cost. Michigan loses Johnson HB on the touchdown. They are now down their top 2 RBs.
