In all honesty I think the playoffs has made college football worse. I feel like more teams are quitting now once they are out of the play off picture. See auburn and LSU. At least in the past 10 teams were excited about getting into a BCS bowl. I realize those bowls all still exist but the teams and fans aren't as excited about them.

I think it will be obvious as well with bowl attendance. Also think it will be interesting to see how playoff attendance goes. How many fans hold out of the semis to get champ tickets and how many can only afford semi tickets?
