Matt wyatt said the om offered him and he accepted on h2h yesterday. What kind of message does that send to high school qbs. Do you guys see this guy working out? Didnt he get im a fight with Dabo

this could be true. Ole Miss is the best at keeping things quiet.

we said on here a while back it was coming. They CANNOT develop a high school QB. I think Kincaide would be smart to transfer.

And any high school QB that ever goes to play for that program needs their damn head examined.

Speaking to a guy who's involved with the Scooba program the Kelly to OM deal has been pretty much a given since this summer. The only thing I think that can give him pause would be if LSU offered. Even then I still think he would go to OM but it would make the decision tougher.

Last high school QB to develop there...Eli Manning. It's unreal how that's even possible.

Cut had a lot to do with Eli's development. That's why letting him go was so foolish. He's a great coach just wasn't a great recruiter. Sound familiar? They've been chasing their tales winning the recruiting trophy but very little else ever since.

Another distraction to the 2 young qbs that are going to have to play Saturday. This just keeps getting better.

Hopefully one or both do play and feel they've gotta prove something. Please try to be the hero...

It's a pretty obvious choice for Kelly just like it was for Wallace- there will be virtually no competition for the QB job there b/c the talent level just isn't great.

If you sign there and have talent you have a 90% chance of being the starter.

Or you go to a potential NC contender at lsu that only needs one piece -- a qb

Yeah this one was easy to see coming. They need each other, and he will probably be pretty good. Only time will tell, this is the SEC after all. LSU might make a run at him, Les needs to get a QB and their fans seem to think JUCO is the way to go as well. Les will feel some pressure, so he will be in the running. Regardless, he will end up with the bears, we just need LSU to make it as painful as possible for them.

But at LSU there is the threat that one of those other talented players turns a corner, especially the freshman. I haven't even seen a video clip of Kelly so no idea how good he is but there is definately more compeition at LSU than OM. But they can sell the Zach M story and getting him to the NFL so will be interesting if they offer

And just two weeks ago Dick Cross was talking on H2H ( in a very condescending manner ) how it was unbelievable and mind boggling that LSU can not seem to recruit and develop qb's. That their only success is from transfers, etc.. UHMM!!! Dick is that not a problem that has been occurring at tsun for a decade and a half???

Why did Peyton go through the majority of his mechanical rehab off the back surgery as a 13 or 14 year NFL vet in Durham, NC? Cutcliffe played a big role in the development of both of those QBs -- and, as a matter of fact, still plays a big role....

Agreed. And Ole Miss fired one of the best QB coaches in the country because they have no patience for developing QBs.

I agree with this. Cutcliffe was telling the story of having a film session with all his quarterbacks, and invited Archie in as a courtesy and maybe even to provide some input. About 30 minutes into the film session, he noticed that Archie was asleep in his chair.

Archie NEVER pushed his sons to be football players....he helped them is they asked, but he wasn't doing the Marv Marinovich thing.
