Didn't know they based the winner off stars instead of play on the field. They should apologize to Beckwith.

Voters say: "Three time SEC OL of the week and linchpin for one of the best overall offensive lines in the SEC? Nah, let's give it to the guy with a bunch of crootin stars who anchors a shitty line and can't finish a game. What actually happens in real life on the field don't matter."***

Hilarious.

It literally might just be "We can't give both of the awards to MSU"

Could there have been some politics that may have decided this? What has Tunsil done this year on the field? All we hear from the media is how good he is. but where has that been proven? Beckwith has worked his butt off and Tunsil plays when he decides he wants to play.

That's fine....we can get Ben the Burlsworth Trust for best former Walk-on player in the country.

Yep. We had a player win the Conerly and Hull Trophy last year, and we're about to have a guy win the Conerly this year. No way they can let MSU sweep those awards in back to back years.

Only problem with that is this isn't a normal year. We aren't a normal miss team.

This is the kind of crap that holds MS back. No such thing as a Meritocracy in the land of good old boys.

Why would they give out this award before the season is over? What happens if Ben wins another sec lineman of the week and softie gives up a couple of sacks?
