He has a hitch in his motion that we'll want to correct, but he looks good. Moves pretty well and has easy arm strength.

He looks solid. Hopefully we can make that release a little quicker...he drops the ball way down like he's winding up to throw it. I'm sure Dan will get that worked out and this kid will be a good one. It won't be too hard for him to learn our system either based on what I see from a scheme standpoint.

Yeah, that's arm will get a lot stronger. He'll look night and day in two years compared to now.

He's got a big hitch, but will have a lot of time to develop before seeing game action.

I would say we should get that motion worked out but Damien still takes a huge windup before he throws as well.

easy arm strength...I like that.

I also think that Virgil leaving opens up a qb spot in the rotation for Gardner Minshew whose already going to be on an academic full ride scholly...

He looks like he's throwing the shotput. Maybe he will be another Phillip Rivers. That's kind of who he reminds me of.

It looks fine once it's at the top, but that hitch as he gets it up needs to go.

I believe a recruited player must count as a signing class and roster spot, no matter if he has the grades/scores for academic money.

Yep. Minshew may accept the grayshirt that Virgil declined, but I don't see the staff being willing to use a 2016 spot on him when they've shown practically no interest in using a 2015 spot.
