I think JRob still depends on his initial draft grade. He's at his full potential right now, and his stock isn't going to rise any from playing another year. I think the biggest factor could be what the RB board looks like this year vs. next.

Dak will be back, and he most likely would be back even with a Heisman and NC win. The production and awards won't hide the fact when it comes down to real evaluations that he still has some glaring deficiencies in his passing game, which he won't be able to mitigate with his threat to run in the NFL. He could probably get drafted as high as the late 3rd round on potential alone, but I think that would be a death sentence, because he wouldn't get the reps he needs to improve as a 2nd or 3rd QB, and probably wouldn't stick on a roster long. Judging from his year-to-year passing improvement thus far, I think he will absolutely reach the level of a legitimate top 3 round pick by coming back and working through his senior year.

Can't think of anyone else who's eligible to leave that would have a shot. Next year will be a different story however.

Spot on about J Rob. Another year in the SEC does him what? He is what he is. A wrecking ball that has shown he can catch passes, run between the tackles, run outside the tackles, and shed defenders with the best of them. Not elite speed, but is a solid runner.

He's not going to get taller and he's not going to show us much more than he already has. I would hate to see him go, but if he gets a 4th-5th round draft grade, he may take it. RB in the NFL is different now. They are so versatile now because they are catching passes and pass blocking more than ever before. He can do all of that right now and I think would see playing time on a lot of current NFL rosters. I would hate to see him leave but I guess I wouldn't blame him.

Would leave us with a very young backfield next year but I do think we could handle it.

Im right at 5'11 and dak is much taller than me. I have a picture with him and tebow as well, along with myself. He is right at 6'2". Tebow must have trimmed up because Dak is much thicker than tebow right now.

Can't be. JRob is only 5'7" maybe 5'8" on a good day. Dak is definitely over 6 feet tall

I guess my sarcasm meter is broken? Anyone that has stood along side the walkway at a dog walk can tell you Dak is a good six inches taller than JRob, who MIGHT be 5-8.

Yeah, clearly too short to go to the NFL. Definitely needs to stick around for another year and hope for a growth spurt.

Ummmmm, you might want to read a day or 2 before blocking people. You would be blocking one of the better posters on the board.

I've got a solution to this suddenly hot issue of dak's height...

Someone find a pic of Justin cox and Dak side by side. We'll soon see a pic of cox in front of one of these...

Then we just compare the two***
