Texas QB Aaron Sharp (@Supreme_Guap) has named a top 3 of #MississippiState, #KansasState and #Utah. A decision is coming soon.

Everyone thought Baylor lead but doesn't look like it.

It looks like it. We are in two QBs that fit our system perfectly. Aaron Sharpe and Elijah Staley. I really hope we get both of them.

Elijah Staley tweets sound like he's a MSU lean ... he is hoping a buddy from his HS team will be offered by us ... maybe that would close the deal

offers look pretty good ... one bio says dual-threat & another on the same page says pro-style .... @ 175 lbs, how big of a dual threat can he be ?

he's listed at 4.54- he'll gain weight

I like Sharp a little better, but both seem to have incredible amounts of potential. I would be ecstatic with either one. Here's to hoping Mullen can lock a QB down

I really wonder if we can get both. This better not be on of the things where Sharpe wants to decide but we tell him to wait until Staley does, and Staley doesn't pick us in the end.

I agree. I just don't know about a 6-7 QB. Is there such thing as too tall?

Yes there is a such thing as too tall when it comes to QB's because the footwork gets harder obviously with longer legs. But from his film I don't think that would be a problem with him

Yeah, people are acting like Williams is not even there. This guy is a winner. Plays physical. Throws the ball pretty well, and with some work will be good in our system. This guy unfortunately will not be able to redshirt due to the numbers, but he could get some good time with Dak starting in 2014.

I hope that Stanley sees the potential at State to come in and compete for playing time on both the football field and basketball court. Our facilities are new and second to none. The stadium phase will be complete starting in 2014. Mullen has succeeded at MSU without his choice style QB. Just wait until his system is flipped back to the read option. It's going to be serious with our offensive line depth and talent.

He can still redshirt and dress out. He wouldn't play unless we lose both Russell and Dak anyway. It's not like you need him for depth.

Throwing motion and accuracy are way better than Relf, IMO. We get Staley. The guy from Texas we don't.
