For fun, let's say:

Bama loses to AU
Oregon loses in P12 CG to USC or UCLA
FSU loses to BC or UF or GT in the ACCCG
TCU loses to Texas
Ohio State loses B10 CG
Baylor loses to K-State

Who is 1-4? Clearly we'd be #1 if we beat UGA in the SECCG, but what if we lost to UGA?

We'd be #1, Georgia #2 I haven't looked at the rest.

I'd think Bama would be out of the top 4.

no?

In the above scenario, the one that sticks out the most is a Bama loss to Auburn. I just can't see it happening. Bama can stop Auburn's running game, or at least limit it . And isn't that the most pivotal game with the most important outcome?

We had our shot, and came up short. Win the next two dammit.

Can't happen. One would lose in the championship game.
Eta. Can happen if Missouri wins out. My bad.

you start going to conference champs at that point because there will be so many teams with 2 losses.

Not sure why you're so sure AU can't run on Bama. They ran on UPig & LSU. They managed 232 vs us. And this is the Iron Bowl. Let's not pretend it's an impossibility.

No one runs on Bama*... Arkie got stoned. LSU struggled... Bama should win by 10-14

*well, save AU's fluke win last year...

AU runs on everyone pretty well... and when you think they have it stopped they float one over your head to a WR you thought was blocking for 60+ yard TD pass.

Williams supposedly back for iron bowl. It would be huge for auburn to have him back. Still think he's the best wr we've gone against this year

He's definitely a beast. In addition to the passing threat, I'll be interested to see how Bammer's DL counters a physical offense that run the ball.

Auburn will score 24-28. The issue is can they hold bama to 23-27. I haven't seen anything lately to make me think they can

no?

I'm saying no because them everyone has 2 losses except State in this wild scenario.

Then we start comparing 2 loss teams and Bama rises back to 2.
