All that would be legal is a retweet. That's clearly not.

What is the difference between that and us making pictured of jerseys with recruits names on them?

The difference is a COACH can not talk about a recruit by name.

Correct a coach cannot call a player by name until they are signed.

Is it signed LOI or signed financial aid agreement? Rebs are saying he signed financial aid so it's all good.

Actually signing a financial aid agreement does change things. Allows more calls etc. Considering it's been up 3 hours I guess there is something to it.

Matt Luke didn't call any recruit by name or tweet his name. I am guessing this is legal.

Hats off to Ole Miss for going up strong in a gray area.

But I tweeted it to @RebelCompliance just to make sure.

If he's signed a financial aid form, he is good.

Then this is a really good idea and all our early enrollees need to be announcing too.

We do that all the time with recruits. I don't know how graphics MSU sports has put out with a recruits name on the back of the jersey. That is my confusion here.

Because our coaches aren't tweeting them for the masses. They are mailing them to the recruits.

All of you are wrong. Ole Miss Compliance tweeted me back to say Patterson signed a scholly and they can talk about him.

I still don't know how he signs a scholly before Thanksgiving.

It isn't done by the University. A few of us bored photoshoppers work something up and throw it out on twitter.

I guess by scholly they mean letter of intent

He must have meant financial aid agreement. You can't sign LoI until February.

If he's an early enrollee, he can sign his letter of intent on August 1st. He wouldn't sign a letter of intent in February if he was taking classes in January.

No. He signed a financial aid agreement. Not a letter of intent.
