"Dan Mullen hasn't beaten anyone." Damn, I thought we got passed this. MSU has been #1 for a good portion of this season. We still have a good chance to win a Natty, and those fools on Nafoom can't stand living in our shadow. Better yet, I think we are living in their heads.

to be fair, it's a pretty big shadow this season. might be intimidating, especially with their coach possibly about to leave and the fact they haven't beat a D1 program in close to a month.

Now that is funny. If you go back and look, we played better than OM in every statistical category in our game against Bama other than TOs and they were lucky enough to be at home in that game.

They really should shut up. When you have lost to 2 teams that we were comfortably ahead the ENTIRE game, your 1 quality win starts to look like a fluke.

I think we are still #1 in the Likenhous poll, the Dunkel Index and the FWAA. Those are the only polls that count anyway. ******

I laughed. Here's how I've been fielding this type of stuff from both Bears and Elephants this week:

Statement 1:

"Yep, Bama was awesome and played a near perfect game. Totally mistake free."

Statement 2:

"They better have. One mistake and State wins. What's the chance they do it again if we get a rematch."


This will be followed by crickets from Bama fans.

For Rebels, there will be a brief deer in the headlights look followed by recovery and a flash of anger and some nonsense about Ole Miss winning the Egg Bowl by 20 and holding us to 6 points or some such.

Good lord, I just read about the first 10 posts of that thread...

So much outright hatred for MSU and State fans coming from that thread. I mean, it's just downright nasty. "Blithering idiots" "Stupid ****s"... To whoever it was a couple of months ago that said NAFOOM is just the Spirit with cursing- you hit the nail on the head.
