I think I watched MSU's next QB in a highlight video.

Ladies and gentlemen, meet Juwan Adams the QB at North Pike HS in Mississippi.

6'3" 200 and, IMO he runs an awful like #15. He's still a little raw throwing the ball, but shows good arm strength when he lets it go.

He was offered by Louisville tonight, and I'd be surprised if we don't offer him at some point. We probably haven't offered yet because we are still weighing our options and know that, if we offer him, he may commit soon after.

Has anyone seen him play first hand?

He definitely is an interesting prosoect & he's a great running qb. Far & away our top 2016 qb is Jalen Hurts from outside of Houston, TX. His dad coached Brian Johnson in hs & we lead right now. Kid is great but Adams & Keon Howard from Laurel are some guys we'll keep in touch with.

Gotcha, that makes sense. If we just end up with this guy though, I'll consider that a success.

Thanks Dan!

I haven't seen him first hand, but he looks pretty good.

I know Dan usually likes to watch QB's throw at Big Dawg Camp in person before he offers, so I'm guessing he'll get one this summer from us.

Here is Hurts' video and he is pretty damn good. He certainly has more touch, zip, and feel in the passing game, while also possessing good speed. Hurts can spin it and seems to have some serious feel, anticipation, and instincts within the pocket. Hurts looks far more advanced at this point. Adams just appears to be more physical and more equipped to take a pounding between the tackles. However, in the SEC, you have to be able to fling it, and Hurts' is clearly better there.

Hurts' also appears to have a WR that may run a 4.2 or so.

Yea thanks linked the wrong video. Hurts is the total package. He's also around 195lbs as a Jr so you're looking at after a rs year prolly around 220-225lbs.

Jalen Hurts and Keon Howard are the top 2 on our board for 2016.

Add Jon Randall Belton to that list even with ACL injury.
