Hunter told me he has been working out and his 60 time was 6.41 last week. He is listed as 5-11 180. He said his goal is to become faster on the base pads.

Is that a 60yd dash? What is considered a good 60? I'm supposing anything sub 7 is good.

According to one website, the average MLB is around 6.7.

Comparatively I just found a site that said Billy Hamilton... 6.5. So if he's at 6.41 he's damn fast. Would also be Top 10 fastest by Perfect Game. http://www.perfectgame.org/Articles/View.aspx?article=9163

I've coached one kid that was a legit 6.35. He was a good player but other than speed didn't have "elite" talent. He had scouts all over him solely based on that 60 time. It's a pretty big deal and if he's a legit 6.41 he can fly.

Also, I believe the term you were lookin for is base PATHS.

Both of our catcher prospects are fast- Stovall and Marrero. I think Stovall might end up at second base and Marrero will do the catching along with Dustin Skelton.
