Malzahn likes Auburn..... besides, Auburn will counter with whatever amount needed to keep him. Freeze is just happy to feel wanted.

Auburn is ALL IN and will always be. I dont think that crap would fly as much down at Florida.

Freeze would have it made in Florida. The place sells itself. He wouldn't have to worry about Memphis escorts at the Library doing the real recruiting.

It's been said on here before Freeze wants out of Oxford...

Why would he? He is a Mississippi boy that is basically coaching at his dream job

Why did he go to USM? I've always wondered about that?

I think I read somewhere that Sexton and OM are in "talks" right now since he is year 4. So, just looking for leverage.

No way Freeze goes to Florida..... it's too big for him

Tsun is Freeze's Linus blanket. It's the only place he has a chance to succeed, it's a system thing with recruiting and all and a lot of things and trustworthy people have to be in place to make it work the way they do.

No way Florida hires him, and he knows he needs the system they've created, he's fools gold in my opinion.

I don't think Florida offers freeze, but I could see him taking it if they do.

OM is staring 8-4 in the face. That would make mullen 5-1 against OM with freeze 1-2. Freeze would then be in a must win next season at Starkville. OM has to find a qb while we have dak. Freeze knows he could be in danger if egg goes bad this year

Something tells me Freeze isn't a top tier candidate right now but Sexton has gotten his name prominently mentioned for negotiating power before the job goes to someone else.

There is a pretty good chance that Malzahn and the Auburn program are into phaze one of Cheesdick redoux. Think about it, CGC walked into a talent laden situation and got the horseshoe going his way with won a Natty then tailed off to 8-4 and then 2012 happened. CGM walks into same type of talent situation ( -Cam ) and the horseshoe is really in full effect and plays for a Natty. Now the horseshoe is starting to wear off and 8-4 is imminent this year. If he doesn't get back to 10+ wins next year and follows up with a another 8-4/7-5 the boosters will flee and withhold their dollars from the recruits and he may be back to a repeat of 2012 and will be gone. I really feel that his offensive genius requires to much attention to detail which he can not give when running the whole shebang and regardless of what folks have hyped Ellis Johnson up to be, I have never been terribly impressed. It could all very well happen and I think they are headed down along the same track.

Coaching at Florida vs coaching at Ole Missus is a no-brainer

I dont think Florida offers him- but he would buy his own plane ticket to coach at Fla
