The 6th place team in the west LSU beat the first place team Wisconsin in the Big10 on a neutral field.

The 4th place team Auburn beat the 2nd place team KSU in the Big 12 at their place.

You have to really want to push an agenda not to acknowledge how tough the SEC West is.

The SEC West is, overall, the best it's ever been. Alabama and LSU, however, aren't the best they've ever been. There no freebies, but there are also no suicides.

That being said, the SEC West still has the best two teams in college football.

Exactly why a 11-1 state team should make the playoffs

seems like the division would need to lose a game to a single OOC school before being called "down."

Teams in the West don't look as good b/c they are getting beat by...wait for it....other teams in the West plus UGA.

The national perception then would be. The only way for MSU to be good is the rest of the division must be bad. Anything to put a dog down.

To be fair, the West doesn't look as good because they have gotten beat by a UGA that lost to UF and South Carolina and more importantly, because they lost to a Missouri team that lost to freaking Indiana. If A&M and Auburn hadn't screwed up, there would be no reasonable argument where you can leave an 11-1 MSU team out. There's still not a good argument, but you can't claim anymore that the West is invincible.

UF and USC are 0-4 against the SEC West....

Huh? UGA killed Missouri.

He's talking about A&M losing to Missouri.

I'm not sure about that. You're talking about a West that is 1 Arkansas victory away from being the 1st division ever in college football to have every school bowl eligible. If that doesn't show how good the West is I don't know what does.
