Tomorrow night, State will be in the Top 5, and probably the Top 4.
To stay in the Top 4/5 State has to absolutely dominate Vandy. I think we need to score a minimum of 35, and give up a minimum of 14 in order to not raise any eyebrows within the committee.
Yes, Vandy is awful, but they are coming off a bye, and have literally nothing to play for. If the 1B defense decided to give up a couple big plays or not tackle, and we beat Vandy something like 38-20, then I think it'll put pressure on us to destroy Ole Miss in Oxford in order to have a chance to make the playoff. I'm really hoping for a 52-7 kind of game.
