How do you know you are raising sports fans the right way??

This morning, independent of each other, my 15 year old daughter and 13 year old son both headed to school in State gear. When I asked them why why both said "after a big loss is when we need to show how proud we are."
Made my day.

Daughter: You mean the game's over?
G-mom: Yes.
Daughter: Who won?
G-mom: Alabama.
Daughter: You mean MSU didn't win?
G-mom: No not this time.
Daughter: Ah I really love MSU though mamaw.
