Freeze a good fit for what they are looking for. Good recruiter running an exciting offense. The Florida type athlete would be great in his system. His system is a lot like Malzahn's since they basically developed both together, only Freeze can't find a RB worth a darn.

Freeze's problem is the same thing he yells at Bo about: he makes bad decisions and takes unnecessary risks.

I'm just glad mullen and foley don't get along bc winning and recruiting at Florida (sec east) is much easier than the miss schools. Freeze loves the spotlight and the state of Florida is in need of revival

I think freeze could be extremely successful at Florida. The athletes they consistently bring in combined with hi offense and his recruiting...he could be very impressive in my opinion.

This would be especially true if he did like he did at ole miss and got a good experience D co-ordinator.

Bottom line is he's taken a zero conference win team and made them relevant in 3 years. I would agree that he's taken some short cuts that may not sustain long term but I think those same things would be sustainable at a place like Florida.

His MS "dream job" show is a crock of shit. That's what he sells because he can sell it. UM is a crappy job because expectations are so much higher than reality. Every time you do something good (like a big recruiting class), they expect that to be followed by a national championship. Add in the resources on the bottom of the SEC with an in-state rival that's one step ahead of you at every turn in the best conference in football, and you can start seeing where a Florida would be a great escape.

I really can't think of a better hire at UF than Freeze. He would win big there. Maybe Todd Graham. Rich Rod would be an awful hire. He needs to stay that the West Virginia's and Arizona's of the world.

Kingsbury would have been interesting, but Texas Tech is terrible this year.

Why does everyone think Bucky is this great recruiter? He recruits as well as everyone on this board. OM could have a mannequin as a head coach and still pull nice classes becsuse their HC is just a puppet. They recruited well under nutt, but he refused to follow through on all the promises made by all the om recruiters (bagmen). That's why the nutt teams didn't play for him at the end. Bucky just goes along with whatever his recruiters promise.

I don't know that Freeze is the answer, but it's a dumb to say you don't need a recruiter at Florida. You may not need a recruiter to get LB's or CB's, but you need a recruiter that can pull the top QB's, WR's and other skill positions in there. Those are the guys that will make a difference at Florida that they don't have right now.
