I think you are right about that with regards to Winston and Alabama. That or he would be protected even more than he is at Florida State.

Too many UAB, AA&M, AState, non-supporters, etc. folks in the Tuscaloosa PD and the state plolice and AG offices as well. The "alleged" rape would have been thoroughly and properly investigated. The hit and run investigation with the the 2 CB's would have better legs under it as well. FSU is in an isolated corner of that state and is off limits to anybody but FSU true blues. ( I know it is the state capitol, etc. but it is still a very protected area ). Saban and Bammer administration would have been forced to take preemptive or disciplinarian actions.
