5th. 6th at worst.

I think we are 4th. We have the best 1 loss resume and lost at the toughest place in football by only 5 points. We also out gained Bama by 100 yards. We can beat Bama on s neutral field and I think the committee will see that.
We played bad. It's that simple.

4-6

4th, possibly 3rd if Miami beats FSU.

We have a better resume than every other 1 loss team in the country. TCU beat Kansas by 4 freaking points today. I just don't see how the committee could drop us below 4 right now. Not if they go by what they have been doing with the past rankings.....

I'm calling 6

ShotgunDawg

I'm calling 6

This would be straight criminal. I think we are in if we win our last 2.

TCU should drop after nearly losing to a putrid Kansas team, but they won't. If somehow FSU loses, we could find ourselves in the 4-5 range. If FSU wins, I'm inking we're 6. Which would be bullshit, but we are MSU and people love shitting on us.

This should address some fears. From our own Matt Wyatt

I agree with the 5-6 crowd, not that i personally think that's where we should be but listening to the talking heads all week they're looking for a reason to drop us - do those talking heads include the selection committee? Remains to be seen. We are > TCU but i can't help but feel like this will end up an equal opportunity selection process in the end. Hope I'm wrong.

We need A&M to beat Mizzou

Ohio state will be in the top 10, everybody is looking for reason to include them.

I think we are 5 if FSU wins and 4 if FSU loses.

Spencer Tillman was on postgame CBS talking this shit. Idk how MN was ranked top 25 this week but thats a complete and utter joke.

If Auburn, A&M, and LSU dont keep winning, our resume turns to shit fast.

We might slip in at 4. I'll be pulling for Miami to win. If they do, I think we will certainly be in the top 4.

Right, but TCU lost Minn as a Top 25 win and Clemson lost so FSU loses them. We are in a good position for a 1 loss team.

Notre Dame also just lost too, really need the U to win tonight

curmudgeon

FSU just lost both of their quality wins. Clemson got torched today and a bad Northwestern team just beat Notre Dame.

I say 4th.

Statefan

Should still be there at 4th. No one loss team has a better resume or wins
Hell, Oregons resume was good enough to have them above FSU. How is ours not the same?

5-6, they sure as hell better not put us behind fsu if they lose.

Now we fall hard. Auburn, A&M, and LSU all screwed us and FSU is gonna pull another one ou . Now we go to around 6th. Thanks for the help all you assholes. WTF happened to Auburn?

ShotgunDawg

This is the SEC's problem. There are very few poor teams. Good teams then lose to other good teams, and thus make a good team look bad.

5th. 4th if FSU loses. Tcu should drop to 5 regardless. But they won't.

Don't forget to pull for Oregon State tonight. We are the biggest fans of all teams playing one loss teams now.

Bama, FSU, and maybe Oregon are ahead of us. 4th at worst. 5th behind TCU if the committee is incompetent. Honestly Oregon shouldn't be ahead of us. We are the best 1-loss team in America, minus the head to head vs Bama

4th... if 5th, a 10 point win in Oxford will push yall in...

also, if AU wins the IB, yall will get in with a win over UGA in the SECCG.
