is that the end of Ohio State? I think they're dead in the water regardless, but that may be the nail in the coffin.

Not so sure. Committee said they'd take injuries into consideration and Braxton miller was a huge loss.

I know urban Meyer is a huge miss state fan today

I can't see them caring about that given that he's not coming back this season. I see that statement as "player X missed 1 game and they lost" but he's back so it does factor in.

At this point, the committee has said everything factors in. have they said "no, that won't factor in" yet to anything?

Ohio State better worry about beating Minnesota. It's a heck of a game right now. Tied at 14 with seconds left in the first half. OSU is threatening though.

17-14 OSU at the half.

Ohio State has no chance of making the playoff unless it's down to them or a 2-loss team that didn't win its conference. And that assumes they are a 12-1 Big 10 champion.

Nothing about Virginia Tech today is going to affect that.

Got a followup question, if Duke wins out and beats an undefeated FSU in the conference championship are they in the final four?
That would be more insult to injury for tsun, having to watch both their no.2 rival and a coach they ran off in the playoffs.

I agree they have a snowballs chance in hell, but VaTech does effect them. thats a bad loss.

I don't think they can pass everyone they need to.

ETA: they've played 2 teams with a winning record and that will likely still be the case by the end of the season. They're 1-1 against winning teams. they've got to have the easiest power 5 schedule in the nation.
