View Full Version : Matt Millen said Mariota over Dak because, "Mariota is a great person off-the-field"

Been away a bit, so sorry if this was already mentioned, but did anybody else catch this? They were discussing Heisman favorites, and after one expert talked up Dak, Millen basically said, Mariota has all that, and is a truly great guy. Talked about how he did stuff off the field, had an inspirational story and that, in his opinion, was the reason Mariota should be ahead of Prescott.

Could he really be that damned lazy that he didn't even bother to take an in-depth look at Dak before offering his, "professional opinion"?

No wonder he was such an abysmal failure in Detroit.

I have no idea why ESPN gives him money to be a football analyst. He is arguably the worst GM in the history of football.

Clearly he hasn't done any research on the topic. I have no idea what Mariota is like off the field. Even if he is a great guy, to insinuate that Dak isn't is asinine.

Matt Millen is the biggest moron on TV. Yes, even greater than Phil Simms

Matt Millen is a known dumbass. I'm surprised he can dress himself.

Matt Millen also thinks Joe Paterno was a 'great guy' and ran a 'clean program'.

Out of all the ignorant analysis we've had to endure of late, this may top the list.

Matt Millen is awful. This coming from a guy that cried live on air defending Joe Pa and Sandusky.

Thought he would have chosen Cooper since he likes receivers so much

Has no one called him out yet for this? You shouldn't be able to make a statement that implies Dak isn't a good guy off the field like that on national television and get away with it. That's ridiculous.

Amazing how Matt Millen gets jobs that he is totally unqualified for.
