I thought the anticipation I had the week before the Auburn game couldn't be matched. I was wrong. The anticipation that I have for this Alabama game has me so wired right now, I doubt I'm going to get much sleep this week. Going into that Auburn game, I had no doubt that we were going to win. I have that same feeling now, and I can't wait to see what the reaction is after we beat the pants off Alabama in Tuscaloosa on Saturday!!

Am I the only one that is anxiously awaiting what Derek Cody comes up with for a motivational highlight video on Thursday? I just went back and watched the Auburn one again.

This is the game that everything this team has done to date has built them up for. All the hard work that has been put in with conditioning and weight training. All the hours that have been put in on the practice field in the swealtering Mississippi humidity. To paraphrase Bill Parcells, this is the kind of game that you "lift all them weights for".

Two years ago, the motto going into this game was we believe.

This year, I don't believe we are going to win this game.

I flipping KNOW we are going to win this game!!!

I seen it dawg

While I agree with most of this it's not THE GAME. That game is in January in Dallas. This game is just another game on the path to THE GAME. This game Saturday isn't about redemption, revenge, making this season legit or anything resembling those things. It's Game 10. It's the game to go 10-0 and to stay number 1. It's the game that gets us one step closer to our goal. Nothing more nothing less.

Great point!! I will add that the first goal this team set was to win the SEC West. This is the game that gets that, and then it is on to the next goal.
