We treat OOC games like a scrimmage. It just is the Mullen runs the ship. We also tend to play down to competition some, I.e. Kentucky and Arky. We'll be sky high in Tuscaloosa.

I'm convinced that Mullen over strategizes. He has it in his head that he needs to limit 1a reps, so he takes it to the extreme and lets 1b almost hang us until it's time to play big boy football. Maybe it's brilliant. Maybe it's madness.

When it has been time to turn it on this year, we have. It has mostly been personnel that makes the difference too. I have a feeling next weekend we see a lot of things we haven't seen so far. I just hope they work since we have not done it in games.

No team in college football is invincible this season. Mullen has been damn smart to keep our players healthy while piling up experience for the second stringers. That along with doing what it takes to win each game. Every game is unique. Just because this or that works vs one team doesn't mean it will work vs. another. The adaptability we've shown has given us the best chance we've ever had to win it all. We may or may not, but we're in a damn good position. Football is always an up and down ride. That's what makes the game great.

I thought they had a good second half. We were on our heels for that first touchdown they scored. The second was bad too, but they still only scored sixteen points. The main thing I didn't like was all the int's we missed. Redmond gotta get back next week. Hopefully his 17 up wasn't excessively serious. Kind of an advantage for us because he's that much fresher. Been meaning to check on Love's injury. Gotta find out about that.

That 1B unit is not going to be the starting unit just by default. They will have to earn it. There is a lot of talent that is going to have something to say about all of the starting spots.
