apparently Dunlap and Bloodman have gone down. Not sure the extent.

Rick ray's fault. Shouldn't have played this scrimmage. Doesn't he know we could get people hurt. ** cue, dawg 61 to say something dumb as shit.

Apparently the only thing safe for our basketball players is to NOT get out of bed.

If Dunlap and bloodman are out an extended period, we might should just forfeit this year and use the extra time to recruit Malik 24-7

Meh, Dunlap is going to be a non-factor this year.

Ready already hurt. If we lose Dunlap and bloodman, we're paper thin and I didn't even mention sword who may not be 100%

Bloodman was already questionable for the scrimmage, wouldn't read too much into his coming off the floor limping. Dunlap appeared to be crampng.

Dunlap just had a cramp. Bloodman just banged his knee he'll be fine too.

Both of them had cramps. Nothing to freak out over.

Sword will be back for our first game. It's a strange roster Ray has put together. Our best 4 players in order are Chicken, Ware, Fred, and Houston. None of those guys can shoot or really play the point. But to get our best 5 on the court together, we need Chicken to play the point.

This is what are lineup has to be:

PG: Sword
SG: Fred
SF: Houston
PF: Daniels
C: Ware

I like Roq, but he is better coming off the bench. Ready stays hurt. Bloodman gives it 100% every time but he is just limited ability wise. Ndoye can play a few minutes, but he has a looong way to go. Dunlap has to get stronger, maybe he can knock down a shot here and there. It's going to be a real struggle to make the NIT. I don't see it.

You would think if we're training hard enough to get half the team hurt before the season, that we would be in good enough condition to not be cramping up in an exhibition game. Hope these guys get healed up before the season. Speaking of...when is the season opener?

Easy to get paranoid at this point.

We need to beat them. We have Utah St. game 3 which will probably be a loss with the injuries. Then St. Louis game 5, who was really good last year. We also play Oregon St., Arkansas St., and Florida St. out of conference.

If we can pull out 3 wins out of those 5 teams, we could have a decent season. At the least, we need to get 2 if we're hoping to be competitive this year.

Not that anyone else cares, but I'll share my philosophy on hoops. Until we make post-season and sign Malik, hoops is toast. I will support the Dawgs at every opportunity but keep my expectations at zero. I'd like to beat Ole Miss twice, other than that don't care much.

What are we presently? Undefeated? Did the football team start out 1 and 0?

At what point does it go from "bad luck" to "bad management"? Seems to me like we started with a dumpster fire, and now the apartment building next door is going up too.
