So will Bloodman play PG for us for the entire game? I wonder if Delta State can keep it close tomorrow night

Gotta think sword will be our pg. I think something like this...

Sword -- pg
Thomas -- sg
Daniels -- sf
Johnson -- pf
Ware -- c

Probably more like Bloodman, Sword, Thomas, Daniels, Ware. I like Roq and he's a good role player, but he shouldn't be starting for us at PF if at all possible.

Is Ready made of straw? His nickname might need to be "Lil' Softie".

Pawwwl says it's the same surgery Sword has. Pretty sure this is not a common basketball injury which means it's either a terrible coincedence (which you can't rule out with Ray) or we did some conditioning/strength drill that was just a bad idea or the players didn't perform properly and hurt themselves.

Ironically we all railed on Stans for not having any real strenght or conditioning program. Ray does and he has a rash of injuries i've not seen any other program conistently have.

How does that old Hee Haw song go?

"If it weren't for bad luck, we'd have no luck at all" ?

Gloom, despair and agony on me. Yep, that pretty much sums up MSU basketball.

Its more than coincidence at this point.

Is IJ "Not" Ready too obvious?

Is Coach Akins still the basketball strength coach?

It's hard to win at any level without a damn PG. I guess we have Tookie coming in next year.

Yep, at this point its time for Stricklin, as Ray's boss, to have some sort of independent evaluator that knows something about how basketball S&C and practices should be done to provide counsel on if we are doing something under Ray and the current S&C coach that is elevating injury risk. I've never seen ANYTHING like what's going on in our basketball program injury wise. And a lot of the injuries apparently aren't even contact related.
