That's amazing, I didn't know Daks stats were better than Newtons at this time.

I bet most don't. He has better stats than Jameis last year as well. That's why we need to help get this kind of info out to the talking heads.

Just FYI, expect pushback from MM fans. Mariota actually does have better stats in most of those categories, and a much higher QBR. Of course, he's done it versus weaker competition, but if you're going to us stats as your weapon, you might get "out-stat-ed". Hell, he got 10 of his TD's vs Cal & Washington State!

I suspect that if MM played in the SEC, the extra beating he would be taking would show in his stats. But you'll never convince the anti-SEC crowd of that.

My hope is that the Western media will be divided of Mariota, Abdullah, and Boykin... and the Eastern guys will all go for Dak.
