Very rare to see those 2 stats so far apart and just emphasizes that while we give up all kinds of real estate, we are still very stingy in letting teams score.

It's called "bend but don't break." I couldn't care less how many yards we give up, it's about points. Our D has been stellar in that regard.

I got into a discussion with a friend on a non sport message board. It's a history message board but it has a sports board with it. He said that our defense gave up too many yards and our defense is not a defense of a nationa championship caliber. I had to point out to him because obviously he did not watch us play much that we take out our entire 1st team about every other series and that's where the yards come in and it pays off in the long run.

Other teams are usually behind and can only throw the ball on us. Plus we show the ability to score quickly, which gives the other team more possessions.

The key is getting stops and keeping points off the board.
