It will be like any other noncon game. He'll play the first half and the the first possession of the 3rd Qtr, then his day will be done.

I've got to agree. If he wasn't neck deep in the Heisman race I could see only playing a quarter or so...definitely not past halftime if the game goes as we anticipate. However, since he is there Dan knows he has to have the stats and he can't be pulled with 30 yards rushing and 100 passing. Nobody will look or care that he only played a quarter and what's his nut from Quackland will post his big numbers against the girl scout defenses of the PAC12 and start to look better. No, I think Dak plays into the 3rd until he can get around 300 total yards and 4 TD's and then call it a day.

The real over under ought to be on five carries. They can play him the entire first half without him ever getting hit if they dont call designed runs

Also the Heisman will be won or lost in Tuscaloosa IMO... We win there he wins it... we lose its gonna be tough

You could be right, but I hope not. I'd love Dak to win the heisman, but I want the sec more. If dak messes up ankle more this week in an attempt to win heisman, we lose sec.

Priorities:

-SEC Championship
-National Championship
-Individual Awards

In that order. That's what this team and coaches should be looking at. If the first 2 happen, the third will follow.

Over...........barely.

He needs rest to heal. Hoping he sits the whole game!

Like others have said...he'll likely play the first half then give way to Williams.

That said, I also wouldn't be surprised to see Williams on the 3rd and 5th possessions of the game like we did in the early OOC games.

I wouldn't play him a down of I could get away with it

This game is irrelevant in the Heisman race for Dak. If he beats Bama in Tuscaloosa to it is his.

There are two ways to go on this IMO:
1. Play him wide open for 2 drives and assuming that we score TDs and are up 14 to nothing pull him.
2. Let him play the first half, but just strickly for passing and only run the ball inside the 5 to score TDs

Once again, what he does vs UT Martin will not matter one bit in the Heisman voters eyes. We need him as close to 100% as possible vs Alabama to have a chance of winning the game and him winning the Heisman.

It will be like any other noncon game. He'll play the first half and the the first possession of the 3rd Qtr, then his day will be done.

I was wondering if they'd do the back-and-forth like early this year- Dak gets a series, then Damian, rinse & repeat.

I seen it dawg

Over. I bet he plays 1st half but with hardly any running the football. What we really need is a defensive or special teams TD early to create a little cushion.

Over, I think we see him play almost the entire first half to pad the stats. I don't see running the ball any this weekend though.

Over, but I would be perfectly fine with him not playing at all.

My guess is he plays the majority of the snaps in the first half, but not all of them. Then a drive in the 3rd and that's it.

I wouldn't play him at all unless we can't move the ball without him. That shouldn't be a problem this Saturday.

Coach Mullen won't insult his opponent. Dak will play into the third quarter unless he's injured. I trust our coaches to handle this perfectly.

Also, if he plays, he plays his whole game, including running when the lane is there. I think holding back gives you more injury risk than just playing. All out is the only way it's done.

Plays for a half IMO. Little-to-no running. He and JRob both will be pretty limited IMO. Not great for my fantasy team...

The Heisman will be won or lost in Tuscaloosa regardless of stats...
