In 1998, Tennessee beat Syracuse 33-32, and were a Clint Stoerner fumble away from losing to Arkansas.

This game, Dak Prescott was bad in the first half, but found a way to win, the way Heisman winners always do.

Agree lets hope this is the worse we play and Arky is going to beat someone this year

We played poorly fought bad calls from the refs the whole night. The hold on that Hail Mary prayer on fourth down has to be called. But more then that they got every break and we still found a way to win. Dak went for 336 in the air. Not bad at all for the night. All in all this is what you do as the #1 team, survive and advance.

And how many times have we been in Arkys shoes over the past, oh I don't know 70 years? That scrappy team everyone hates to play but finds a way to blow it at the end. We needed this game. It will help us against Bama and OM.

100% correct. That wasn't called simply because of the situation and the ref thinking "it doesn't matter". Then they hit the prayer for the first. Complete bush league chicken shit officiating that the SEC is becoming known for. Absolutely unacceptable.

I'm trying to recall, but was there a holding penalty called in the game on either side? I don't remember one, and there were some absolutely blatant holding going on by Arky.

Mullen just said on his post game interview essentially the same thing, that at some point we were going to have to play a close, tight game.
