What did they get vs us? 398? 1b's don't need to play as a unit unless the game is out of hand

That game has been very surprising to me. I think Towles is a good qb so surprised to see them struggling so much today.

Kentucky had 400 yards of passing but 20% of those came off of two plays, and they only rushed for 100 yards. I get the concerns about the passing game, but our defense is designed to stop the run and to prevent scores in the red zone which we're doing. Missouri is not very good btw, they gave up nearly 500 yards of offense to Indiana this season. Hard to compare stat lines between games like that.

Indeed. The law of transitive properties does not apply to football.

It makes it more worrisome doesn't it? And unfortunately those big plays still count. They counted for UAB and they count for UK.

Some fans continue to make excuses for our secondary and our 1B strategy. It's past time to solve this issue if it's even solvable.

We're 7-0 and the #1 team in the nation. If we lose one because of the 1Bs then we can discuss further but for now man just chill and enjoy the ride

They also are playing like shit on the road and obviously put everything into beating us. Towles is playing like shit today and not even using the QB draw play like he did last week. When we come out and crush Arkansas this weekend, we will forget about our win against Kentucky.

1Bs played well tonight.

1Bs played well tonight.

Our rotation was much better. Not the wholesale substitutions we normally do.

Our defense was fine. If we don't have two picks on certain TD drives and muff a punt, the score is 21-3 at halftime. They didn't stop us one time tonight that didn't end in very bad INT decisions or we didn't have a false start or illegal man down field. Our offense played really sloppy but our defense stepped up as much as they could. Dak played poorly in the first half but made up for it and made plays when it matters. This is the 17-10 win Coach Mullen was talking about that we needed from our D. Proud of how we competed and overcame poor play, poor officiating and Arkansas playig decently.

Glad we got some practice in with bad officiating since we're headed to T-town in 2 weeks

Agreed. We won't get a single call there. I am expecting that.

Kentucky is lost to us twice this season. They didn't have much left in the tank after our game.
