I had posters all over my walls in my room. My two favorites were a life size Dr. J on my ceiling in full fro going up for a slam, ball in one hand high above his head. And the other was George Gervin sitting on blocks of ice...The Iceman. The NBA use to be awesome and loaded with characters.

Dominique Wilkins posterizing some random guy and Don Mattingly "Hitman" where he is dressed like a gangster in a Yankees pinstripe suit. Stole that one out of an opposing teams locker room at an away game and ran to the bus.

That is an entirely different topic. But great poster. My favorite of all the SI girls was Stephanie Seymour though

Joe Montana and if course the Thrill, like every other baseball fan in Mississippi at the time.

Michael Jordan's free throw line dunk at the dunk contest in houston, with my father on a knee court side (he worked for the rockets). He was the guy who said "alright Michael you're up next". He asked mj what dunk he was doing, and Michael said "I'm not sure I'll figure something out" right before going out and jumping from the line.

I had Charles Barkley life size Phoenix Suns poster, Don Mattingly, Magic Johnson, and David Robinson. I was a big basketball fan but now I never watch the NBA. I might go now living in Atlanta.
