it's looking to me more and more like we'll be playing in New Orleans not Pasadena because of Florida State. The criteria that's going to put us in New Orleans is that the committee will ensure that the #1 AND #2 seeds don't get placed in an "away" environment. If we stay the #1 seed they will protect Florida State from having to play against Auburn/Ole Miss/Alabama in the Superdome placing us there instead. Rose Bowl gets the rights to the #1 vs #4 UNLESS that means it places EITHER the #1 or #2 seed in a "road" environment. Florida State (assuming they stay perfect) will then be dictating where we play because they will in all likelihood be playing an SEC team and placing FSU in the Superdome creates more of an away team environment for them. Of course Oregon could throw a monkey wrench into this but I'm calling it now. If we make it we'll be playing in New Orleans round 1. Giggity
