View Full Version : some of us have been saying...

...that the Rebels defense was extremely vulnerable against the run. Well, LSU ran all over Ole Miss. That just doesn't bode well for them against Auburn and us.

If Alabama would've stuck to the game plan, Ole Miss would've lost that game, too.

Doesn't bode well for the trip to Fayetteville, either.

Add Arky to that list.

OM still has the #2, 3, and 4 rushing teams left on their schedule. Lsu was 6th

What? It was the same percentage of run vs pass plays today as the average for the entire year.

Which are we?

The Rebels defense has been vulnerable against the run all year, but, for some reason, teams didn't stick with it.

ULL ran for almost 200 yards on them I believe.

The rubber is about to meet the road for them since, starting with LSU, they are now playing the teams that can run the ball with authority.

If so it shouldn't have been, we could have run the clock out quickly at the end but chose not to.

No, no it wasn't. Just wait until tomorrow. Facts are coming.

There was 7 min left in the 4th when we throw our last pass. Our final 14 plays 10 were runs and of the 18 plays we ran in the 4th 12 were runs. We might should have milked the clock more but the play calling was in line with what it should have been. Go back and look at the drive charts.

Boise ran on them too.

No, no it wasn't. Just wait until tomorrow. Facts are coming.

Before today's game we rushed the ball 62.3% of time. Today we rushed the ball 60.7%. That's practically the same as what we have averaged for the season.

I'll go back and look but none of that matters when you are snapping the ball with 15-20 seconds on the clock. My 9 year old daughter was freaking out about how dumb that was. It's going to get us if we don't get smart. It's common sense.

That I agree with and why I said we should have milked the clock more.

Bama losing in Oxford earlier this season is looking like a good deal for us now.
