That's good news for us.

Obviously we need to just finish 8-0, of course.

Lsu-bama is a huge game for us now. If lsu wins, we're in great shape

Auburn vs OM is huge now

1. The loser of Auburn/Ole Miss next weekend will likely be eliminated

2. If MSU or Bama wins out, they are champs.

3. MSU fans need to be LSU and Auburn fans right now. We need LSU or Auburn to give Bama a second loss. If that happens, all we need to do is beat Bama or Ole Miss and we win the West.

Loser is eliminated. We need to be cheering for Auburn (Which we would anyway), because we have the tie-breaker over Auburn.

There's also this scenario

Bama beats MSU
LSU beats Bama
Auburn beats Miss
Auburn beats Bama
Ole Miss beats MSU
Bama/LSU/Miss/MSU all with 2 division losses

This scenario is impossible.

MSU is not losing the egg bowl.

If OM wins out, they win West. They still control their own destiny as we do.

Ole Miss/Bama/MSU all control their own destiny b/c Bama would win a 3 way tie-breaker.

Exactly. We beat Bama and arkansas, and ole miss loses to Auburn, we win the west.

Probably, but it's not totally inconceivable that Vandy could upset Tennessee to finish 1-7, while Tennessee finishes 0-8, and Kentucky finishes with the same conference record as Florida (3-5? 4-4?), in which case we would win that 3-way tiebreaker. There are other possible ways it could work too, like Kentucky finishing 5-3, Tennessee and Florida both 2-6, etc.

Also, a 3-way 7-1 tie is no longer possible with Ole Miss's loss to LSU, but I guess we, Ole Miss, and Alabama could somehow finish with a 6-2 tie. In fact, there could be a 5-way 6-2 tie if LSU wins out, we lose to Alabama and Ole Miss, Auburn beats Ole Miss, LSU beats Alabama, and Alabama beats Auburn.

This but Auburn is going to have a tough time. They still have Ole Miss, Alabama and Georgia. I think Georgia might beat them.

Nope, Bama doesn't control their destiny. They can win out and still have Ole Miss go.

You replied to a thread about a 3-way tie now being impossible with a 3-way tie scenario. It isn't possible.

Exactly. If we win them all till the egg, we most likely wrap up west against vandy at home. Easier said than done though

Just win. Then the rest doesn't matter.r

I don't see how Ole Miss will score enough points on Auburn to win that game. Auburn is going to score 24 points on Ole Miss.
