^This. And I don't know about Smitty's question either- I think if you even use the players image for your own profit, it may be trouble.

Dak is going through the process of protecting his likeness to prevent any potential blowback. I think it's a damn travesty our esteemed athletic department didn't see this coming and do it before it happened. As soon as Jesse Palmer said Dak was a Heisman candidate and Vegas listed him on the odds, they should've done it. Now they're behind the 8-ball trying to play catch up.

I don't think you can sell any merchandise that has his name or likeness on it though. Obviously the photos are different because they are probably the intellectual property of the guy who took the photo. You'd have to ask a patent/IP/trademark lawyer to be certain though.

Hope everyone takes advantage of this chance... If he does win the award for this pose you better believe any official photo, even this same one, will be a lot more expensive.
And if something happens and we don't... He is still the most amazing Qb we have ever had and this was a HUGE win that set the stage for this season and you will always want to remember.
