Zeppelin is one of the best bands ever.

They were all over the map musically, but to me that's one of their main strengths. No matter what type of music you like, you can find a Zeppelin song to fit it. Well other than Rap music I guess.

The Beastie Boys used a couple of Zepp songs though beautifully

I go thru stages and When The Levee Breaks may always be my favorite- but their Whole Lotta Love version just before Bonham died may overtake it. They transitioned the song from rock/psychodelic song in the late 60's into just a straight in your face rock version in the last 70's...this version is ****ing phenomenal

As a drummer, I've gotta go with Moby Dick

Led Zeppelin boomed over the Jumbotrons at Davis Wade Stadium might be too much for me to handle. I'd jet straight to the stratospheric ozone.

Can anyone say who gave them the name "Led Zepplin" ? I have the answer. Just curious if anyone knows.

something to do with the Hindenburg?..."this is going to go over like a LEAD Zeppelin" ? some type of quote or something...and that's the best I got without google.

If you say "their high school gym teacher", you're mixing rock groups

I always heard John Entwistle of "The Who" told them "Your Band will fall like a Lead Zepplin". Might be true.
