Here is the bad news after a complete season of luck, he is destined to get pounded every game left. His babip is too low, therefore I know it will happen. One minor problem w that stat, it doesn't favor in hard v soft contact. And it can't. 2 years of he's the luckiest bastard should prove he's pretty damn good.

ross is awful. Wish we would put girado in when the game is on the line. He is a strike out guy. Just like renfroe needs to be in there with risp. I mean, who gives a shit about what they do day to day. It is all about the calculator.

Mitchell is the mvp and ferris winner....I dont give a shit what anyone says.

He did exactly what I wanted tonight. 5 K's. Don't tell me it can't be done because he got the K's last year. Oh, no walks or HBP either. If you're STILL ignorant then u can't be helped.

Mitchell on being 12-0: "I don't think much about it. I've been put in lucky situations a lot this year."

Reminds me of a young Greg Maddox.

Lucky bastard.

I missed it. Where did the luck comment come from?

He's the damndest thing I've ever seen. Lobbing 60 mph stuff up there and buckling .350 college hitters. It's completely unbelievable.

Well, he's right. Measuring pitcher W-L especially for RP is not the way to judge pitcher performance. Locke should be asking about his really good ground ball % or WHIP so he can actually comment on his talent rather than asking about something as non-talent-dependent as W-L. The pitcher W-L came from a time when pitchers would always throw complete games, its archaic and needs to go.

throws harder than Harden did. Harden may have hit 80 on his best day.

John could throw over 80. But the slow curve nearly gave LSU scoliosis. Going from a 50 mph curve to an 80 mph fast ball wore them out.

But I appreciate the memory lane moment.

Will- You've made it son. You had a player basically take a shot at you in an interview.

Congrats

I'd like to take a moment to thank the people that have made this happen. First, DS for giving me a forum to cut my teeth. Second, Bill Gates. Microsoft Excel is amazing. 3rd, the detractors. Or I should say the EIP's (Enlightened in Progress). And finally Coach, for starting this board.

I couldn't have done it without you guys.

I saw plenty of Jon Harden. I think Real Deal Mitchell tops him.
