Notre Dame is about as good of a matchup as we could hope for. Not that they're a bad team, or anything less than a good one, just the weakest that could plausibly make the playoff.

Also that would be funny to see Ole Miss get shafted by having to play Marshall.

I noticed that two of our OOC opponents are projected to go to bowl games- UAB and South Alabama.

But yes, playing for the first ever football NC game would be unbelievable. Think about this- every time they mention the college football playoff, Mississippi State would be mentioned as playing in the first one ever.
