Cole Gordon--Baseball

He is a right handed pitcher throwing upper 80's his true freshman year. Had TJ surgery 16 months ago. Plays 1B and bats left. He has a quick bat. He is 6-6 240. This kid has lots of potential. Look for him to play a lot in 2015.

Will be another legit power threat down the line IMO. Wouldn't be surprised to see him pull double duty -- or even us play matchups between he/Ingram next year at 1B after Rea is gone...

Too early to tell BC I haven't seen him pitch. He has started twice. I don't have his stats either. He has great potential at both positions.

I've always thought of Gordon as a first baseman. I thought Gordon was a fairly underrated recruit in out last class when compared to Burdick and Vallot.

More than likely I think he backs up Rea this year, but if he mashes, we can DH him.
