"LSU coach Les Miles met with the local media on Monday, and when asked about the hit linebacker Kendell Beckwith took this weekend, Miles said he's awaiting word back from the SEC offices as to whether or not the blow was legal. "

All LSU opponents should report any infraction their players commit. I used to kind if like this guy, not so much now.

I didn't really have anything against Les before this season, even respected him for his, um, unique style of coaching, but it's going to be hard to think of him as anything other than a little bitch from now on.

Wasn't he the one that tried to pull Dak's head off in our game with them?

If an LSU guy had made that hit, Lester would slap him on the back and call him a good, hard-nosed player.

The LSU double standard has crossed over from baseball to football this year.

Well......the SEC Office opened this door in my opinion. But Damn! Why doesn't Les just bitch a little and cry some more.

It was a peel back block. Beckwith was about to make the tackle, what else was the Kentucky guy supposed to do? On top of that, he did his best to get lead with the shoulder and not take his head off.

I still consider Auburn's fanbase and coaches the whiniest in the SEC but LSU, thank to ol' Les, is now running in second place for sure.

Well with a doubt it was a head to head. Also without a doubt 52 was the player who tried to remove Dak's headgear and thus his head.

Edit to ask. Is that a play the coach can challenge during the game?

Was targeting called during the game? Just wondering if KY might be down a guy against us?

I do not think a penalty was called however, Day?

A big change in football is that players have had to change from trying to hurt each other to trying not to hurt each other. I'm glad for that personally.

I disagree; I watched the replay (around 0:52 on the clip in the link) and it looked to me like the KY player went in shoulder-first and hit Beckwith's chest. I just didn't see a hard snap from his helmet that would seem to be head-to-head contact. Granted, I'm far from an expert and this is just an opinion.

Well, guess I will be neutral this weekend and say I wish both teams could lose.
