Lsu can really help us these next 2 games. If they can beat om or bama at home, it would be huge for us

either would be huge. Both would be a realignment of the planetary systems.

LSU and Bama both went back to their basics this past week. They ran the ball. I bet double TE sets will become a norm for both of them till the end of the season.

yeah, you just knew that LSU had a run in them. Seems like they're getting just enough of what they need out of Jennings to win.

If LSU can't establish a running game between the tackles early and keep the ball out of Jennings' hand, it will get ugly for them.

The bears have shown that against a defense with a pulse the only way they can score is to get an interception thrown right at Golson on the 30 yard line. Bo can't drive the length of the field.

If Ole Miss is as good as they say, and we're as overrated as they say, then they should easily handle LSU at night in DV. We did.

Wasn't it Reb fans telling us how horrible LSU was this year after we spanked em?

If Ole Miss is as good as they say, and we're as overrated as they say, then they should easily handle LSU at night in DV....after all, we did.

They're already regretting saying that now. I'm sure they're getting new talking points worked out now.

They'd better hope they're right, because I don't see them beating Auburn. They're not going to be able to score any more against Auburn than they did against Bama, and if anyone can figure out how to exploit their tendency to over-pursue on defense, it's Malzahn. Being 0-2 two weeks from now after their dream start wouldn't be healthy for that fanbase.

I hate to say it but UM handles LSU with ease. LSU won't be able to move the ball.

I can't wait up see how it plays out with the way LSU is running. See if miles will be patient and stick with it.

LSU was bad when we played them. Because we made them look that way!

LSU was weak up the middle of their D when we played them. They have replaced #31 the middle line backer with a younger more athletic player, and it is making a difference. I expect LSU to give OM a close ballgame, if not win.

That doesn't even address what I was saying. I also didn't say it wouldn't be a close game, but if LSU doesn't commit to a north-south run game and is forced to throw the ball with Jennings they will be a turnover machine.

IMissJack

I think Miles is definitely committed to the run. He likes to run a 2 TE set and cram the ball up the middle. He tried that too much with us, and they couldn't run it. In the first half he figured out they could not run it against our front 7 and went with the trick halfback throw (which worked) but they could not get it in the endzone anyway. Then they tried a reverse, which did not work at all. Sitting in Tiger stadium, I told my son we were going to win when I saw Miles desperately going to trick plays against the Dawgs in the first half.

I agree with that. Just suggesting that it will be a north south game. I bet LSU runs it 45+ times.

True but they also struggled to beat a bad Florida team and caught some breaks against a weak uk team. They're still probably not going to beat ole miss with out a good bit of help from bad Bo.
