A&M is young this year....they will be improved next year. But I do wonder if they ever plan to play any defense there.

In the first half the past three games, they have been outscored 80-7. That won't cut it but I still think they finish 7-5 or 6-6 to make a bowl.

JFF only comes along every once in a while. If Sumlin doesn't commit to playing defense I'm afraid 8-4 is as good as it gets at TAMU....ever. Smoke and Mirrors.

Regarding bowling: Yes, but only because they beat Arkansas and SC. They play Uhlum next week and that may be their final win this season.

Yeah they'll go bowling. It may be the Liberty Bowl though- but they'll beat Louisiana-Monroe.

They don't play defense in Texas anymore. It starts at the high school level. They put the best players on offense, defense gets what is left over.

Sounds like an enterprising young high school coach could "innovate" and do the opposite, winning a state title within about 3 years.

A&M has given up on this season. Don't get me wrong. Bama was gonna win that game either way, but it shouldn't have been that bad.

To answer your question, yes they will go bowling. They still have one gimme game left.

Yes defense is a huge issue for them.. But they don't and can't run the ball.. That won't cut it in SEC.. JFF made their running game what it was past 2 years..

Very true. They need to hire a new DC and recruit a good running back. Idk if that fixes everything for them, but it would be a start.
