I am a firm believer that unless you are a 1-2 round grade you should stay and finish your senior year. You can always look into an insurance policy if you get hurt.

Moral of the story is this:

If you are a 1st or 2nd rounder, then you should probably go pro.

If you are expected to go in the 3rd to 7th round, then it is FAR more likely that you will get cut in the NFL than getting hurt playing your senior year of college football.

Cherish and utilize all the time possible in college to prepare yourself for the NFL.

Basically says what the players should already know. Go if you are a 100% sure fire 1-2 round pick- otherwise, stay in school.

I think this holds true for everyone except RBs. they don't go in the 1st anymore and given their limited career expectancy in the NFL, I think they should go early if they're pretty certain they can make a roster.

Definitely with RB's...not many miles can be put on those legs, and the goal is just to hope you can last long enough to get to that 2nd contract.
